Superpower: AI In Our Lifetime
A feature documentary on AI and the future of the human mind.
From medicine to cinema.
From the human brain to the human heart.
Fagun is a founder and critically acclaimed filmmaker working where artificial intelligence, neuroscience and storytelling meet. Trained in medicine and neuroscience at UCL, she leads The Purpose Movie Studio, is directing Superpower: AI In Our Lifetime, and is building a new venture in AI and human health.
Intelligence beyond our own is arriving in our lifetime. This film asks what happens to ours. Filmed with pioneers of AI and brain-computer interfaces.
Fagun is building at the intersection of AI and human health — bringing medicine and neuroscience to the next generation of health technology.
Fagun studied medicine at University College London, specialising in neuroscience. An ITV News feature on her straight-A academic record led to an audition — and her film debut.
She went on to win the BBC’s nationwide search for acting talent against tens of thousands, train in classical acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, perform Shakespeare and Chekhov on stage, and star alongside Academy Award winners.
Then she stepped behind the camera, trained as a director and, while studying at Cambridge, founded The Purpose Movie Studio from her research there. Today she brings it all together: medicine, neuroscience, cinema and artificial intelligence.
